Students have an opportunity to earn a B.S. in one of the following areas: Biochemistry & Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, Microbiology, and Forensic Science. An integrated undergraduate/graduate (B.S. / M.S.) program is available for students interested in taking a deeper dive into the field of Biotechnology.

Four Eberly College of Science students selected for the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship. All four students perform undergraduate research in BMB faculty labs and three are pursuing a degree from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department.
Their poster was titled: The Penn State protein ladders: an inexpensive source of protein molecular weight markers appropriate for both Coomassie staining and Western blotting.
