BMB Students Receive Goldwater Scholarship

Four Eberly College of Science students selected for the prestigious Goldwater Scholarship. All four students perform undergraduate research in BMB faculty labs and three are pursuing a degree from the Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department.

Ryan Santilli & Jack Williamson (Song Tan Lab) awarded 1st Place in their group at the UMBC Undergraduate Research Symposium

Their poster was titled: The Penn State protein ladders: an inexpensive source of protein molecular weight markers appropriate for both Coomassie staining and Western blotting.
