The Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at Penn State invites applications for multiple tenure-track assistant professor appointments in the broad areas of microbiology—including bacteriology, mycology, parasitology, and virology—and genetics and cell and developmental biology.

The Department of Mathematics at Penn State invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor or an associate professor position in mathematics. The position is open to all areas of pure mathematics, including dynamical systems, geometry, geometrical analysis, and algebra. Candidates whose research complements existing strengths or fosters connections within mathematics and across departments are encouraged to apply.

The Department of Mathematics at Penn State invites applications for a tenure-track assistant professor or an associate professor position in computational mathematics. While the primary focus is on recruiting candidates for the assistant professor level, candidates at the associate professor level may also be considered. The department seeks to expand its expertise in numerical analysis and scientific computing, with interest in areas such as numerical methods for PDEs, scientific machine learning, quantum computing, data-driven modeling, and data science. Candidates whose research complements existing strengths or fosters interdisciplinary connections across departments are encouraged to apply.
