About Me
I earned my Bachelor of Science in Biology with a concentration in Molecular Biology and Biotechnology from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. As an undergraduate, I studied how different environments influence the severity of bacterial blotch disease in commercially grown mushrooms (Thesis Advisor: Dr. Laura Ramos-Sepulveda, Millersville University). I also completed an REU in computational biology, where I analyzed micro-satellite data from two on-going conservation efforts in the broader field of molecular ecology (REU mentor: Dr. Mark Welch, Mississippi State University).
