About Me
I have a Ph’D. in cell and molecular biology and specialty in microbiology, biochemistry and molecular biology. For more than thirty years, I have been working on functional genomics, structual biology and ecogenomics of oxygenic photosynthetic prokaryotes in gene regulation, evolution and biogenesis of the photosynthetic complexes, bioengineering and synthetic biology. Recently, our research projects focus on the photoacclimative mechanisms in cyanobacteria which are capable of utilization of far-red light for photosynthesis in solar energy conversion.
