About Me
Dhwani completed her undergraduate studies with Biotechnology major in India. She pursed her master’s degree in Microbiology at Illinois Institute of technology, Chicago. She has gained two years of work experience as a research tech at Northwestern University, Chicago where she worked on Breast cancer and metastasis. She joined Penn State University for graduate school in BMMB program in 2019. She is interested to explore more in cellular mechanisms involved in cancer development and metastasis.
Research Interest
Her major research interest is to understand the cellular mechanisms and role of immune cells in metastasis in Head and Neck cancer cells as well as the role of Aryl hydrocarbon receptor in cancer progression and metastasis of Oral cancers.
