I am from Lewistown, Pennsylvania and am earning both my BS in Forensic Science and MPS in Forensic Science at Penn State through the Schreyer's Honors College IUG program. My current research involves raising flesh-eating flies in the PSU Bordenstein lab. I am also the Event Planner for Penn State's Alpha Xi chapter of Delta Delta Epsilon International Forensic Science Honor Society (DDE).
I chose PSU for grad school because of the excellent faculty in our program and the rigorous courses they've designed that'll prepare me for a career in Forensic Science. For my Masters research, I am looking into pursuing the forensic applications of human-associated microbes or in chemical separations of drugs and metabolites.
