I’m from California and have lived across Southern, Central, and Northern regions of the state. I earned my undergraduate degrees in Chemistry and Criminology, Law & Society from the University of California, Irvine. I interned with the El Dorado District Attorney’s Office, working alongside a private investigator to digitize hundreds of case files and assisting paralegals and attorneys in preparing evidence for court.
I chose Penn State for its faculty, hands-on courses, and research opportunities. I am particularly interested in instrumentation techniques and hope to pursue research that will expand my knowledge of separation sciences, preparing me for a career in forensic science research and analysis.
