A man conjuring fire from thin air isn't performing magic, he is using science to wow the audience.

Sharing science with broad audiences is a core, land-grant mission of the Penn State Eberly College of Science. In addition to these free, public events aimed at our communities, the college also has several programs and resources available to the public, including the following:

K–12 outreach programs, including Science-U summer camps and special programming throughout the academic year
Public lectures, outreach events and other educational opportunities for learners of all ages
Planetarium shows and field trips upon request
