Accelerated Premedical-Medical Program (B.S./M.D.)

Earn a B.S. and an M.D. in Seven Years

Spend three years at Penn State followed by four years at the Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. Complete a B.S. in year four and an M.D. in year seven. Since this cooperative program's inception in 1963, more than 1,000 Penn Staters have earned their B.S./M.D. degrees through it.

Admission Requirements

Applying in your senior year of high school is required for this rigorous academic program.

Program Cost and Schedule

Students pay the regular tuition rates for Penn State for the first three years and then at Sidney Kimmel Medical College for the final four years.
