Eberly College of Science non-tenure-line faculty promotions, effective July 1, 2025

Fourteen non-tenure-line faculty members in the Eberly College of Science have received academic promotions, effective July 1, 2025.
The college’s tenured and tenure-line faculty promotions have also been announced.
The following individuals have been promoted to assistant teaching professor:
- Nicholas Stepanik, Department of Mathematics
The following individuals have been promoted to associate teaching professor:
- Russ deForest, Department of Mathematics
- James Kowalski, Department of Mathematics
- Mike Kusluski, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
The following individuals have been promoted to teaching professor:
- Seunghoon Bang, Department of Mathematics
- Gregory Broussard, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
- Joseph Houck, Department of Chemistry
- Linlin Jensen, Department of Chemistry
- Svetla Jivkova, Department of Mathematics
- Glenna Malcolm, Department of Biology
- Stephen Van Hook, Department of Physics
The following individuals have been promoted to associate research professor:
- Jung In Kim, Department of Statistics
The following individuals have been promoted to research professor:
- Chen Chen, Department of Chemistry
