The Journal of Astronomy & Astrophysics Celebrates 50 Years with a Documentary Film

Dr. Jogesh Babu was interviewed for the film on camera on Tuesday 22 May. Few other colleagues from Astronomy & Astrophysics department are also interviewed. Babu is the only statistician interviewed on the film, that included excerpts of short interviews with astronomers in different stages of their career and with different backgrounds about the topic of “publishing”, most of them are from around Europe. The film was commissioned by A&A journal. As 15 min version of the film was presented by the chairman of the Board of Directors, André Moitinho on August 29, 2018, at the IAU meeting in Vienna. The longer version of the documentary will be posted after the premiere during the next A&A Board meeting.
