Eberly College of Science nontenure-line faculty promotions, effective July 1, 2022

Thirteen nontenure-line faculty members in the Eberly College of science have received academic promotions, effective July 1, 2022.
 
The College’s tenured and tenure-line faculty promotions have also been announced.

The following individuals have been promoted to associate teaching professor:

• Amine Benkiran, Department of Mathematics
• Priyangi Bulathsinhala, Department of Statistics
• Barbara Dehart, Department of Biology
• Michael Smitka, Department of Physics
• Michael Steward, Department of Mathematics

The following individuals have been promoted to teaching professor:

• E. Christopher Byrne, Department of Mathematics
• Daniel Costantino, Department of Physics
• Steven Hair, Department of Mathematics
• Nestor Handzy, Department of Mathematics
• Kirstin Purdy Drew, Department of Physics

The following individuals have been promoted to associate research professor:

• Matthew Beckman, Department of Statistics
• Fabien Grise, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics

The following individuals have been promoted to research professor: 

• Cheryl Keller, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
