Bingyuan Liu awarded First Place in Statistics in Imaging

Bingyuan Liu (3rd year; advised by Lingzhou Xue) received the first-place award from 2019 American Statistical Association's Statistics in Imaging Student Paper Competition. The review committee selected one winner and three runners-up from a total of 23 submissions. The winner and three runners up will receive a cash prize of $1,000 and $500, respectively, and they are invited present at a topic-contributed session "New Developments on Statistics in Imaging" at 2019 JSM in Denver.
