Nushrat Hoque.

Nushrat Hoque, graduate student in chemistry, is interested in the field of biochemistry, where she hopes to study proteins. She has co-authored a scientific paper from her previous research in RNA binding to hetero-nuclear organometallic complexes. Hoque earned bachelor’s degree in chemistry at Bard College and her master's degree in teaching from Montclair State University. She taught high school chemistry for four years as a Woodrow Wilson STEM Education Fellow in New Jersey and plans to continue her work in education in the future.
