We encourage all graduate students to apply for the National Science Foundation’s Graduate Research Fellowship Program (NSF-GRFP) which is a very generous source of science funding that is geared toward supporting outstanding students in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines. You may choose to apply in either your first or second year of graduate school.
Applicants must emphasize their ability to contribute to the broader society and their specific field of research. Each year Eberly produces a number of GRFP awardees both undergraduate and graduate.
To support our student applicants, we provide workshops throughout the year aimed at helping you integrate such broader impacts into your education and research plans.
