I began my research career looking into T6SS in Vibrio vulnificus. Following this I developed bioinformatic techniques to discover and characterize novel natural products. Finally, I investigated the regulation of the Salmonella typhimurium's T3SS. 

In my spare time I enjoy traveling to different places across the world, supporting the Alabama Crimson Tide and Philadelphia Eagles, and watching reality TV.
