I am from Corona, California and and earned my BS in Chemistry from the University of California Davis. Prior to starting the MPS program at Penn State, I worked as an assistant coroner for the Yolo County Sheriff's Department. I was an officer in my sorority at Davis, Chi Omega, and am currently a member of Penn State's Alpha Xi chapter of Delta Delta Epsilon International Forensic Science Honor Society (DDE).

My research is in short range gunshot reconstruction with Professor Kusluski. We are looking at systematic sources of variation in gunshot residue patterns as a result of in-fight and termination interactions across different firearm calibers, ammunition and termination fabrics. I was previously a Teaching Assistant for BIOL 110, and am now the Teaching Assistant for FRNSC 415 - Laboratory in Crime Scene Investigation.
