Eberly College of Science promotions in academic rank, effective July 1, 2020

Eleven tenured and tenure-line faculty members in the Eberly College of science have received academic promotions, effective July 1.

 

The College’s nontenure-line faculty promotions have also been announced.

The following individuals have been promoted to professor: 

• Susan Hafenstein, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
• Boris Kalinin, Department of Mathematics
• Mihran Papikian, Department of Mathematics

The following individuals have been promoted to associate professor:

• Eugenio Bianchi, Department of Physics
• Donghui Jeong, Department of Astronomy and Astrophysics
• Scott Lindner, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
• Timothy C. Meredith, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
• Timothy I. Miyashiro, Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
• Mikael C. Rechtsman, Department of Physics
• Bharath Kumar Sriperumbudur, Department of Statistics
• Xin Zhang, Department of Chemistry
