Twenty tenured and tenure-line faculty members in the Eberly College of science have received academic promotions, effective July 1.
The College’s nontenure-line faculty promotions have also been announced.
The following individuals have been promoted to professor:

- Carina P. Curto, mathematics
- Todd C. LaJeunesse, biology
- Tae-Hee Lee, chemistry
- Suvrath Mahadevan, astronomy and astrophysics
- William G. Noid, chemistry
- Scott A. Showalter, chemistry
- Anna Stasto, physics
- Jason T. Wright, astronomy and astrophysics
The following individuals have been promoted to associate professor:
- Amie K. Boal, chemistry
- Michael Degiorgio, biology
- Ephraim Hanks, statistics
- Heather Hines, biology
- Edward P. O’Brien, chemistry
- Matthew Reimherr, statistics
- Benjamin Shaby, statistics
