Eberly College of Science promotions in academic rank, effective July 1, 2019

Twenty tenured and tenure-line faculty members in the Eberly College of science have received academic promotions, effective July 1.

 

The College’s nontenure-line faculty promotions have also been announced.

 

The following individuals have been promoted to professor:

  • John B. Asbury, chemistry
  • Iliana Baums, biology
  • Carina P. Curto, mathematics
  • Todd C. LaJeunesse, biology
  • Tae-Hee Lee, chemistry
  • Suvrath Mahadevan, astronomy and astrophysics
  • William G. Noid, chemistry
  • Scott A. Showalter, chemistry
  • Anna Stasto, physics
  • Jason T. Wright, astronomy and astrophysics

 

The following individuals have been promoted to associate professor:

  • Amie K. Boal, chemistry
  • Michael Degiorgio, biology
  • Ephraim Hanks, statistics
  • Heather Hines, biology
  • Edward P. O’Brien, chemistry
  • Matthew Reimherr, statistics
  • Benjamin Shaby, statistics
  • Moriah Szpara, biochemistry and molecular biology
