Eberly College of Science fixed-term faculty promotions, effective July 1, 2018

Nineteen fixed-term faculty members in the Eberly College of science have received academic promotions, effective July 1.

 

The College's academic rank faculty promotions have also been announced.

 

The following individuals have been promoted to research or teaching professor:

  • Loida Escote-Carlson, biochemistry and molecular biology, teaching professor
  • Christopher Palma, astronomy, teaching professor
  • Michael Siegel, astronomy, research professor
  • Olanrewaju Sodeinde, biochemistry and molecular biology, teaching professor

 

The following individuals have been promoted to associate research or teaching professor:

  • Seunghoon Bang, mathematics, associate teaching professor
  • Andrew Baxter, mathematics, associate teaching professor
  • Patricia Buchanan, statistics, associate teaching professor
  • Sheryl Dykstra, chemistry, associate teaching professor
  • Louis Leblond, physics, associate teaching professor
  • Ana Matkovic, astronomy, associate teaching professor
  • Scott Roths, statistics, associate teaching professor
  • Derek Sim, biology, associate research professor
  • Lori Van der Sluys, chemistry, associate teaching professor
  • Leana Topper, biology, associate teaching professor
  • Stephen Van Hook, physics, associate teaching professor
