How to change your major.

If you wish to change from one college to another, switch majors, or move from the Division of Undergraduate Studies to a college, use the following resources to carefully investigate the new major before you make a change.

1. Investigate a new major using the University Bulletin

2. In the LionPATH Student Center, submit a change of major request using “Update Academics.”

   • Select "Update Academics" from the "other academic" dropdown menu.

     • View the LionPATH video tutorial on using “Update Academics.

3. In person, complete the Change of Major Form and submit it to the dean of your current college for review.

   • As soon as your change of major has the dean's approval, the responsibility for administering your degree program and advising you is transferred to your new college and major.

   • Your new college dean will notify you and the current dean of the outcome.
