Abstract:

We discuss what can be learned from multimessenger signals
in modern astroparticle physics. Examples include the transport
of ultra-high energy cosmic rays (UHECRs) and the predicted corresponding
cosmogenic neutrino fluxes, the possible common origin of the
diffuse fluxes from neutrinos and UHECRs, and the neutrino
and multi-wavelength emission from TXS 0506+056. Special
attention is devoted to source models with UHECR nuclei,
including the photo-hadronic interactions of nuclei with radiaton.
