Abstract:  The Transiting Exoplanet Survey Satellite (TESS) has produced a catalog of over 2,000 TESS Objects of Interest (TOIs) during its two-year prime mission. TESS observed 70% of the night sky, covering the Southern and Northern Ecliptic hemispheres, searching for signals caused by transiting exoplanets. This talk explores the characteristics of the planet candidates and previously-known planets in the TOI Catalog and describes the process used to identify TOIs and create the catalog. We also provide updates on recent additions to the TOI Catalog from the first sectors of data from the TESS Extended Mission.
