The makeup of dark matter is one of the most important open questions in physics today. The GNOME (Global Network of Optical Magnetometers for Exotic physics ) experiment is designed to use an array of atomic magnetometers to search for beyond standard model spin interactions that might arise from interactions with ultralight dark matter candidates such as axions and axion-like particles. The SNIPE-Hunt experiment searches for ultralight dark matter candidates by using Earth as a transducer for kinetically mixed dark-photons and axions such that the observed signal is in the form of a perturbation of Earth's magnetic field. We report recent results from the GNOME and SNIPE-Hunt experiment, as well as planned improvments for the future.
