Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute’s Biostatistics, Epidemiology and Research Design (BERD) Recent Topics in Research Methods Seminar Series will present “Graphical Models: New Methods, Algorithms and Applications.”
Presenter is Lingzhou Xue, PhD, associate professor of statistics, Penn State.
Graphical models have been widely used to study the conditional dependence structure of high-dimensional data in many research fields. In this talk, Dr. Xue will provide a selected overview of new methods, algorithms and applications of graphical models. These approaches will reshape the understanding of a broad array of human behaviors.
Registration is required, with a Zoom link provided to registered participants before the event.

Lingzhou Xue is an Associate Professor of Statistics at Penn State. His research interest include, Network Analysis, Statistical Learning, High-Dimensional Data, Large-Scale Optimization, and Graphical Models.
