Abstract: In this talk, I will give a brief overview of the capabilities and interests of my laboratory research in atmospheric chemistry. Specifically, my group investigates the optical properties of aerosol particles and the interactions between aerosol particles and clouds. I study how cloud droplets and ice particles form on aerosol particles. In addition, I am interested in phases of aerosol particles as a function of their water content. I hope to spark a discussion about how some of these topics may be applied to better understand interstellar matter and planetary atmospheres.
