What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?

The sciences have always been a passion of mine. I am motivated to increase the diversity of the science community so more students of color have the opportunities and resources to pursue the sciences.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

Black History Month represents the acknowledgement and celebration of Black historic figures and their contributions to this country and influence on the world.
