What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
Research and medicine are two halves of a whole that I cannot be without. I am most passionate about translating bench work in a laboratory to bedside care for a patient. I can pursue all things I am curious about and help progress science.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
It means celebration—to celebrate the achievements and contributions that people of color have made across history.
