What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?

I think I’ve always liked helping people, and when I got older, I had a lot of family members and friends suffer from cancer diagnosis. It made me want to be able to actively help them or help others so that no one would have to go through that ordeal alone.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

Honoring the generational growth throughout history as well as to inspire others to go forward and make history themselves.

Anything else you would like to share.

I’d like to believe that I’m multifaceted. There’s no job or project that I can’t do, regardless of the field, and I try to use any and all of my past experiences to learn and better prepare myself for the future.
