What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
What motivates me to pursue science is that it can help us address some of the most pressing challenges facing humanity, such as climate change, disease outbreaks, and food and water shortages. By studying these problems and developing solutions, science can help us improve the quality of life for people around the world.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
To me, Black History Month is a month where we openly exclaim and celebrate the accomplishments of the Black people who have led us to this point. It is also a time where we get to reflect on how far we have come in this country, that our successes are being claimed by us and not co-opted by others.
