What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?
What motivates me to pursue science is to assist in health care through statistical analysis and evaluation of trends in disease processes with various treatment modalities, which will help provide a better understanding of health and diseases, thus assisting in best practices in medicine.
What does Black History Month mean to you?
What Black History Month means to me is celebrating Black excellence and awareness of my peers, my community, and the great accomplishments of influential Black leaders who came before me. Often, the great contributions Black people have made are suppressed, but this month we highlight these accomplishments for everyone to recognize, commemorate, and appreciate.
