What motivates you to do/pursue science and/or medicine?

Even though I've changed my path a few times pursuing a career in STEM, my goal has always been about providing help for others. Whether it is care and knowledge they did not have access to before, or justice and closure, I want to help people have the best chances in moving forward.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

It is about getting to know a part of history that, to this day, isn't covered well in school and giving acknowledgement where it is due. Then we are able to reflect, have pride, and celebrate all that we have accomplished so far and see all the progress that is still being made by amazing people today.
