I chose a career in science because it provides answers to inquisitive minds like mine. It is also the future of our society. We have come a long way as a community, and the more we learn, the more questions we have. My motivation for pursuing forensic science, specifically, is to use my scientific knowledge and skills to help others.
What does Hispanic Heritage Month mean to you?
Hispanic Heritage Month to me is a way of raising awareness and sharing a little bit of our culture with everyone. Being Hispanic means being accepting and open to all kinds of people, cultures, and races that come together. Being Hispanic means not looking at people's skin but having a sense of community and equality all around, regardless of looks. I am proud of being part of such a diverse group of individuals!
