What motivates you to do science?

What motivates me to pursue mathematics is its duality as both an abstract discipline and an instrument of transformation. Mathematics seems to have this “unreasonable effectiveness” in revealing patterns that extend past our intuition, providing a framework to decode the complexity of the natural world. Concepts that are seemingly born from mere thought exercises find themselves indispensable in solving problems far beyond their original purpose. To study mathematics is to engage in the art of building new ideas upon a foundation of timeless truths.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

Black History Month is a time to honor the achievements of those who came before us, reflect on the progress made, and encourage future generations to continue shaping history.
