What motivates you to do science?

I am blessed to be a part of a lab that instills a hard work ethic, embraces challenges, and supports one another through mentorship. The world of research and medicine is constantly changing, and I want to be a part of that positive change—to make a difference in the lives of others and continue to pass down the baton to the next generation.

What does Black History Month mean to you?

Black History Month means to me the celebration of Black generational determination and intellectual growth from those in the past gifted to current individuals in contribution to creating a better future.
