Bit-By-Bit Camp: Building Computer Fundamentals From the Wires Up
What is a computer? How do we make one? How does pressing a series of buttons translate into binary, the base of all computer code? What is electricity? How can we use it to create computer logic? This camp will answer all these questions and more by blending electrical engineering, computer engineering, materials science, and physics to explain how we build everyday electronics. Campers will spend the week asking questions and exploring electricity, circuits, and computer hardware to develop a foundational understanding of electronics. Come and learn a bit (or maybe even a byte) with us!
Dates: June 22-26, 2024 (Monday-Friday)
Price: TBD
Time: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
