Bit-by-Bit: Anything is Possible for Girls in Electrical Engineering

About the Camp

Dive into the dynamic world that powers our modern, technological society. Through engaging, hands-on projects, participants will explore the fundamentals of electronics, circuitry, and signal processing, which are the invisible forces behind everything from smartphones to renewable energy systems. Campers will collaborate with female engineers and engineering students, gaining mentorship and insight into real-world applications of electrical engineering. Rooted in the spirit of innovation and the do-it-yourself (DIY) maker movement, this camp encourages creativity, problem-solving, and confidence through design challenges and experimentation. Campers will leave as empowered creators ready to imagine, build, and lead. Though the primary goal of this camp is to help girls and young women see themselves with futures in engineering science, Bit-by-Bit is open to all students ages 12-15.
