Carol-Beth is an Education Program Specialist with the Office of Science Outreach, where she has served for seven years. She plays a key role in connecting researchers with rural communities and school districts through engaging programs such as Fun with Science at the Centre County Grange Fair, Exploration-U science nights at local schools, and ENVISION: STEM Career Day Supporting Young Women.
During the summer, Carol-Beth collaborates with camp directors to support Science-U camps and leads the Finding Your Roots camp for middle school students. Her work also includes guiding faculty on Broader Impacts initiatives. In addition to her outreach efforts, Carol-Beth is co-chair of the AAUW State College STEM Committee, promoting opportunities for girls and young women in STEM fields.
