Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Greet, direct, and provide information BMB office visitors 
  • Assist with retrieving and distributing mail services 
  • Reserve rooms and audio/visual equipment 
  • Coordinate key and card swipe access to department buildings 
  • Maintain department listservs and directories 
  • Manage the departmental copiers 
  • Place orders for departmental staff offices and maintain office supplies inventory 
  • Assist with documentation collection for p-card reconciliation and travel reimbursement 
  • Maintain the list of funding: internal orders, cost centers, and grant setup data base 
  • Provide support for coursework to assigned faculty 

About Me: 

As the Administrative Support Assistant for BMB, I serve as the first point of contact for the department. If you have questions and do not know who to ask, you can start with me, and I will help you get in contact with the right person. Additionally, I am responsible for lending keys and equipment from BMB and helping faculty, staff, and students find and reserve rooms across campus. Lastly, I help my assigned faculty with preparations as needed, such as copying and collating exams.
