Pathways to Impact: Workshops and Programs
The Eberly College of Science is committed to supporting our researchers in translating their research to benefit society. Translation is an early part of technology transfer where scientific discoveries are aligned to tangible solutions addressing societal challenges. Many researchers want to see their research adopted by society but would benefit from guidance in navigating this process. Our programs aim to bridge this gap by offering hands-on training at the earliest stage of idea conception.
Innovators’ Coffee Hour
A monthly gathering of our researchers to network, discuss innovation tactics, and get their questions answered. Meetings held the third Wednesday of each month at 10AM or 2:30PM, alternating.
Pathways to Impact Seminars
The Fall 2025 series will feature expert speakers who will explore how intellectual property laws, regulatory frameworks, and prior art influence the journey from discovery to societal benefit.
Pathways to Impact Programs
Our programs provide 1:1 structured guidance for researchers to explore a new idea, plan the technical development, and advancing their translational research towards application.
