• Review funding opportunities with faculty, staff, and graduate students
• Interpret agency guidelines
• Provide agency checklists to faculty
• Prepare detailed proposal budgets
• Provide administrative information for applications in accordance with agency, University, and College policy and procedures
• Prepare and track Proposal Internal Approval Forms

Post-Award 

What we do…

• Negotiate grant/contract terms and conditions with Sponsored Programs and external funding sources
• Process new awards, continuations, and no cost extensions
• Review and approve personnel forms and encumber onto accounts
• Assist faculty with financial projections of awarded projects
• Prepare specialized financial reports for submission to funding agencies, research accounting, faculty, and other contacts
• Conduct audits upon termination of grants and contracts for final close out
