I graduated from West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Sciences and was a member of the NCAA Division I Rifle Team. I then went on to complete a Master's in Agriculture, Forestry & Consumer Sciences before moving to the University of Mississippi. While at Ole Miss, I was the Assistant Coach for the NCAA Division I Women's Rifle Team and additionally earned a Master of Science in Exercise Science, with an emphasis in Physiology. Following this degree, I transitioned to a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction and was a member of the Mississippi Teacher Corps and taught sciences in an impoverished school for two years. My teaching experiences then took me to rural Nome, Alaska where I taught for two years. I moved back to central Pennsylvania to be closer to my parents in 2018. I am an avid hiker and enjoy backpacking and traveling!
