Proposal and Award Generalist
Dana Grove

I’m Dana, a Post-Award Proposal and Award Generalist. I’ve been part of the Penn State community since 2009, and I’ve spent the last several years in financial and research administration—work that allows me to support the people and projects that move our University forward. I manage the post-award lifecycle for sponsored research projects, from setting up awards and budgets in SIMBA to monitoring financial activity and completing closeouts in alignment with University and sponsor policies. At the heart of it, my work reflects Penn State’s values of integrity, responsibility and service. I take pride in creating clarity and stability behind the scenes so faculty can stay focused on discoveries that expand knowledge, strengthen communities, and make a real difference in the world.

Outside of work, I’m a busy mom of two—a 9-year-old three-sport athlete and a spirited 2-year-old who is fully convinced she runs the show. I’m also active in our local Little League, where I volunteer as a Team Parent and serve on the Board of Directors.
