STEM is a great field with ever increasing opportunities, and I would strongly encourage interested women to pursue career success through hard work, finding a good mentor, and not getting bogged down by little things. There are challenges for anyone, regardless of gender, and keeping your goal in mind helps to avoid wasting energy on little things that you can’t change.
