Academic Programs: Majors and Minors
Biology Major
Biology is a diverse major that allows you to specialize in one of six areas of study, known as options: ecology, general biology, genetics and developmental biology, neuroscience, plant biology, and vertebrate physiology.
Neurobiology Major
Neurobiology is an interdisciplinary field of study that focuses on the structure and function of the brain and nervous system and how they control behavior, cognition, and all physiological processes in animals.
Minors
A minor is a secondary area of study that, while not as extensive as a major, can complement your major and make you more well-rounded and marketable as a scientist. We offer minors in biology and marine science.
