Research Interests
I work at the intersection of health communication and infectious disease modeling. Broadly, I study vaccine messaging and the impact of individual-level decision-making on communities and populations. I use mixed methods from both disciplines to inform health communication theory while improving our disease dynamics and human behavior models.
Science Communication
I am the Graduate Student Science Communication Scholar in the Eberly College of Eberly College of Science Office of Communications at Penn State, where I write stories, oversee the biweekly Graduate and Postdoc Newsletter publication, and assist in social media creation and photography.
