Research Interests

In the Mallory Lab, my research lies at theoretical and computational soft matter physics, with a strong focus on nonequilibrium systems such as active matter and deformable interfaces. I am particularly interested in understanding how microscopic interactions and activity give rise to emergent macroscopic behavior in complex fluids, colloidal suspensions, and biological-inspired systems. My work combines particle-based simulations (e.g., Brownian dynamics, active particle models), continuum theory (e.g., hydrodynamics), and modern machine learning techniques, especially physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), to develop predictive models for soft and active systems.
