Chowla Postdoctoral Position
The Department of Mathematics is seeking new or recent Ph.D.s with exceptional research potential and a commitment to excellence in teaching. These non-tenure track, limited-term, postdoctoral appointments are for three years. Starting salary is $60,000 for the academic year. Theprogram is designed to maximize the professional development of its participants and provides a research stipend. Initial offers will be made in January 2022.
Applicants must complete the Penn State application and must submit an application through () with the following materials in order for the application to be complete: (1) Curriculum Vitae; (2) at least three reference letters, one of which should address in detail the candidate’s abilities as a teacher; (3) Publication List; (4) Research Statement; and (5) Teaching Statement.
