Chowla Postdoctoral Position
S. Chowla Research Assistant Professor (Postdoc)
The Department of Mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking new or recent Ph.D.’s (typically awarded in 2022 or later) with exceptional research potential and a commitment to excellence in teaching. These non-tenure track, term, postdoctoral appointments are committed for three years with a contract renewal occurring each year.
This position will require a teaching responsibility for each academic year. The Chowla program is designed to maximize the professional development of its participants and provides a research stipend. Initial offers will be made in January 2025.
