Supporting Courses
Flexibility to Meet Your Career Goals
Supporting Courses should further the student's education in subjects of their choosing. If you need help choosing these courses, please make an appointment in Starfish to meet with your academic advisor. The courses may include any baccalaureate degree course EXCEPT:
CAS 126
ENGL/ESL 4 or 5
LLED 5 or 10
STAT 100
CMPSC 100 or 102
MATH 2, 3, 4, 33, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 81, 82, 83, 200 or 201*
*MATH 21, 22, 26, 40, or 41 may only be used as supporting courses if taken in sequence and prior to MATH 140.
A course that duplicates a previously completed course cannot be used as a supporting course. (For example, Math 110 may not be used as a supporting course because it duplicates Math 140.) See the course descriptions in the University Bulletin for information about which courses cannot be taken together for credit.
