Memorial Scholarship

Professor Mercedes Richards was an accomplished scientist and educator, and a valued colleague. During her 13 years at Penn State she impacted the life of thousands of students, and was one of the most popular teachers in our department. We wish to honor her contributions by establishing the Mercedes T. Richards Memorial Scholarship, which will be awarded to undergraduates majoring in Astronomy in recognition of outstanding academic accomplishments.

If you wish to contribute to the scholarship's endowment fund, go to PENN STATE'S GIVE ONLINE FORM.

To search for the fund go to "Special Interest" under the browse all funds option.
